The FUND for EXCELLENCE – for growth in 2013 and beyond
This year’s exciting annual giving campaign is designed to both expand collections AND extend our services throughout the city. For the first time, our fundraising is being co-sponsored by an important new partner, the Evanston Public Library Friends.
- Your contribution will help us buy new books, DVDs, e-books, and online tools for children, teens and adults.
- Your donation will support providing full library services in 2013 at 900 Chicago Ave (operated as "The Mighty Twig" in 2011-2012) and help us explore options for additional programs and services in Evanston’s West and South sides.
LEAP (Literacy Education At Play)
This exciting literacy initiative in partnership with the Evanston Community Foundation prepares kids for kindergarten. LEAP programs run at the Library, in public and private Evanston schools and throughout the community.

Commemorate a Special Relationship
Make a contribution to honor or memorialize a friend, relative, or other special person. When you make a Tribute or Memorial gift to the Library, we’ll send your honoree or their family notification of your generosity.( The amount of the gift is kept confidential.) You may make a commemorative gift through any of the funds or programs we offer.
