Need to scan a photo, a document or a page from a book or magazine? The Evanston Public Library’s new BookScan scanner allows you to scan any document or photo, save it onto a flashdrive, send it to a printer (either color or black & white), or email it to a Google document or an email address. The scanner lets you copy, edit or upload ANY document. It’s ideal for making a color copy of a magazine or a reference book article, making it easy to share your favorite articles or photos with family and friends. And if you are looking for a job, you can email a hard copy of your resume to an employer. The scanner and services are free to use (printing is an additional cost).
The BookScan scanner is located on the 3rd floor with the Internet stations near the Magazines desk. If you need help, simply ask a Library staff member. Come check it out during your next visit to the Library!
