On display June 2012: Alice DuBois & Timothy L. Campbell

Alice DuBois and Timothy L. Campbell returned for June 2012 with a brand-new Local Art @ EPL exhibit.  After making their solo library debuts in 2010, the Evanston-based artists teamed up to present two dozen stunning works that mix oils, acrylics, and collage.  Spirited, surreal, and endlessly creative, the paintings were inspired by history, travel, alchemy, music, and even books from EPL's own collection which were included in the display.  You can read a featured interview with Ms. DuBois and Mr. Campbell on our Off the Shelf blog and also view more of their work at the following: Ms. DuBois' Flickr site and Mr. Campbell's Flickr site.  (Pictured: "The Window to the Next World" by Alice DuBois)
