Description: Block Cinema, a collaboration of the Northwestern School of Communication, the Mary and Leigh Block Museum of Art and the student Film and Projection Society, screens classic and contemporary films.
Block Cinema films are screened in the Block Museum's Pick-Laudati Auditorium. Summer films shown on the east lawn of Norris University Center.

Description: The Evanston Art Center offers over 90 art classes for children and adults. Classes include: ceramics, drawing and painting, fiber, jewelry, metal sculpture, photography, printmaking, digital video, motion graphics, web design, animation, and sculpture. Provides outreach programs to children in the after-school child care program in District 65 schools, Family Focus, and nursing homes.
EAC hosts 6-8 art exhibitons each year.
The Art Center's arts education summer program immerses children in the exciting world of contemporary art; two sessions for children and youth ages 4 through 18.

Description: The Talking Pictures Festival presents independent films from around the world mixed with brand new offerings by local filmmakers. The annual festival features animated films, documentaries, fiction films and shorts that entertain, engage and challenge.
The Talking Pictures Festival is organized by Percolator Films. For the festival, Percolator Films has partnered with local businesses and organizations as well as the Evanston Public Library.
