A minimum of 8 children is required for storytimes and programs to be held. Children must be residents of Evanston or attend school in District 65. Book Babies and Time for Twos is limited to 12 children with a parent or caregiver. Time for Twos is meant to be a special time for a parent and child, so no older or younger siblings. Registration required unless otherwise noted.

Book Babies at Main

Mondays, September 13, 20, 27 and October 4

Tuesdays, September 14, 21, 28 and October 5

9:30 a.m., Children's Room, Main Library

Book Babies meets on Mondays or Tuesdays from 9:30-10:00am

For children ages 12 to 24 months old with parent or caregiver.

You may sign up for one of these storytimes.

Time for Twos at Main

Fridays, September 17 & 24 and October 1 & 8, 10:30 a.m., Children's Room, Main Library
Time for Twos meets from 10:30-11:00 a.m.

For children ages 24 to 36 months old with parent or caregiver.

All By Myself at Main

Mondays, September 13, 20, 27 and October 11 & 18, 11:15 a.m., Children's Room, Main Library

A special storytime for children who are ready to attend a story program without parents and younger siblings. We’ll share stories, songs and crafts for these “big kids in training.”
For children ages 3-5 years old.

Registration opens August 24.

K - 2 Afterschool Storytime

Thursdays, September 16 & 30, October 14 & 28, and November 11, 4:15 - 5:00, Children's Room, Main Library

Stories, crafts and activities for children entering Kindergarten through second grade (ages 5 - 7).

September Weekend Family Films: Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam

Mitchie can't wait to go back to Camp Rock and spend the summer making new music with her friends and superstar Shane Gray. But the slick new camp across the lake, Camp Star, has drummed up some serious competition featuring newcomers Luke and Dana.
