Public Parking Facilities Near the Main Library
- Hours: This garage is open the same hours as the Main Library. Cars left in this garage after Library closing must remain in the garage until the Library reopens the next day. The hours are:

Monday to Thursday: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sunday: 12 Noon to 6 p.m. - Rates: Parking meters are enforced from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Meters cost 25¢ for 30 minutes. Maximum time allowed is 2 hours.

Surface Lot East of the Main Library (behind Evanston Women’s Club)
- Hours: This metered lot is accessible 24 hours, 7 days a week.
- Rates: Parking meters are enforced from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Meters cost 25¢ for 30 minutes. Maximum time allowed is 2 hours. Parking is free after 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and on Sunday.
- Number of spaces: 71 regular, 3 handicapped

Church Street Garage (East of Chicago Avenue between Church and Clark)

Friday: 7 a.m. to 12 a.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. to 12 a.m.

18-24 hours - $13.00 - Cars entering after 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday will not be charged. Parking is free all day Sunday. Although there are no cashiers after 6 p.m. or on Sunday, this garage does close at the times stated above.
