Some ideas for your book reviews (written, video, or photo!)
- (written) If you met the main character in a dark alley, what would be your response? Why? Let us know something significant about the character in your response.
- (written) Pick a suspect (character) from the book and describe him/her. What makes that character tick? Describe a scene from the book that you think really tells who that character is.
- (written) What is the scene of the crime (the setting of the book you read)? Why is the setting important to the story you just read?
- Take on the voice of one of the characters. What if you were talking to that character right now, this summer of 2009?
- (drawing) A picture is worth a thousand words, or so they say. Do you think the cover of the book is an accurate reflection of the book? Is it a red herring? Draw a cover that you think accurately reflects the book.
- (video) Pick a scene from the book you just read that you think would entice others to read the book.
