It used to be that self-publishing your book was considered a vanity project. Nowadays, everyone’s doing it! If you are interesting in self-publishing a book, the Evanston Public Library is rolling out a system to make it easier—and free. Come to the introductory program announcing BiblioBoard on Saturday, March 17, 4:00 pm in the first floor Community Room to learn more.
BiblioBoard is a new service the Library has subscribed to that will allow access to public domain and self-published ebooks in the Library system. On March 17, BiblioBoard experts will virtually conduct the introductory program, assisted by Library staff, showing how to use the service, as well as SELF-e and Pressbooks, to promote, publish, and even format your own books.
Anyone can write a book. The question is, “How do you draw attention to it?” The Evanston Public Library is offering a service that aims to answer that question.
