Patti Waldmeir is an award-winning journalist who has spent nearly forty years as a Financial Times columnist and reporter working out of Ghana, London, South Africa, Washington DC, Shanghai, and Chicago. She is also the author of the book Anatomy of a Miracle: The End of Apartheid and the Birth of a New South Africa.
Donna Urbikas is an award-winning author and graduate of the University of Chicago’s Certificate Writing Program. Her book was a 2017 finalist for Best Memoir awards from the Society of Midland Authors, the Midwest Independent Book Publishers Association, and the Chicago Writer’s Association as well as winner of a Bronze Award from Foreword INDIES.
