  • #93: California/Dodge route--
    (formerly #93 California/Dodge)
    Links the West Rogers Park community with downtown Evanston. Service begins at the Kimball (Brown Line) station, and extends north on California and Dodge (Evanston) to Emerson, and east to the Purple Line ’L’ and Metra station at Davis. This bus route also serves Evanston Township High School, Levy Senior Activity Center, Swedish Covenant Hospital, North Park University and senior homes and centers along the route.

    Rail Connections: Kimball (Brown Line), Davis (Purple Line and Metra)

    Service Days/Hours:
    Weekdays 6:00a - 9:00p every 15-20 minutes
    Saturdays 6:50a -- 7:10p every 20 minutes
    Later evening service
    No Sunday service

  • #200: Main Shuttle route--
    (formerly #202 Main/Emerson)
    Links customers to the Purple Line ’L’ and Metra stations on Main Street. Customers now have direct access to Main Street Commons shopping center and Rand McNally headquarters. Please board #93 California/Dodge (formerly #93 North California) bus for service along Dodge and #205 Chicago/Golf buses for service along Emerson or to reach the Davis (Purple Line) station.

    Weekdays 6:05a-8:50a & 2:45p-6:05p every 25-30 minutes

  • #201: Central/Ridge route--
    (formerly #201 Central/Sherman)
    Serves customers and employees of the Westfield Shoppingtown Old Orchard Center, operates closer to Northwestern University, and provides bus access to customers at senior homes and centers along the bus route. This route also serves the Davis (Purple Line) Station and replaces the #203 Ridge/Grant service on Ridge. Customers along the route can now shop, work and play with access to downtown Evanston, Century Theatres, National-Louis University, Ryan Field, Evanston Public Library, Evanston Hospital, Northwestern University and St. Francis Hospital.

    Weekdays  5:30a-8:00p weekdays every 15-20 minutes

  • #205: Chicago/Golf route--
    Visit Westfield Shoppingtown Old Orchard Center, and restaurants and attractions in downtown Evanston and along Chicago Avenue on board the #205 Chicago/Golf. This new route operates from the Howard ’L’ station to the Cook County 2nd Municipal District Court House. This route also serves many organizations including Evanston Township High School, Niles North High School, Rush North Shore Medical Center, Jewel-Osco Food Store, Dominick’s (Gateway Center), Presbyterian Homes, and Hill Arboreturm Apartments.

    During rush hours, certain trips operate on Grant to accommodate Evanston High School students and shift changes at the Three Crowns Retirement Center and the Presbyterian Homes.

  • #206 Evanston Circulator route--
    New Route #206 Evanston Circulator
    A new rush hour only route, the #206 Evanston Circulator provides service every 15 minutes between the Howard ’L’ station and Central/Crawford. Buses travel north on Ridge and south on Dodge during morning rush hours, reverse in the evening. This route serves both St. Francis Hospital and Evanston Township High School from the Howard ’L’' station in the mornings and to the station in the afternoons. This route also serves the Dominick’s at Howard and at Dempster.

    Weekdays 6:30a-8:45a & 2:35p-6:35p every 15 minutes
    No weekend service

All routes stop in downtown Evanston (Davis Street CTA station) and Howard Street CTA station in Chicago. Fares are $1.50 during rush hours and $1.25 during non-rush hours (transfers are 30¢). Contact the RTA Travel Information Center at (847) 836-7000 for further information or schedules.


One ride is $2.25 full fare and $1 reduced fare.  Reduced fares are for children ages 7-11, elementary and high school students with a CTA Student Riding Permit, and seniors 65 years and older and customers with disabilities with an RTA Reduced Fare Permit.

Purple Line trains operate every 10-15 minutes daily. For train schedules and travel information, visit or call the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA) Travel Information Center, 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. daily, at 836-7000 from any local area code.   • #208: Church St./Golf Rd. route--
    An east/west arterial route serving Golf Road from Davis Street CTA Purple Line/Metra Station in downtown Evanston to the Northwest Transportation Center in Schaumburg. Service is provided to Evanston Township High School, Des Plaines and Cumberland Metra Stations, and shopping centers such as Woodfield, Westfield Shoppingtown Old Orchard and Golf Mill. Service to Skokie Courthouse is provided Monday - Friday only and to Oakton Community College Monday - Saturday only.  Map, Schedule, and Information  
  • #213: Green Bay Rd. route--
    Provides service from Northbrook Court to the Davis Street CTA Purple Line Station in Evanston making stops near New Trier High School, Ravinia Festival, and the Chicago Botanic Gardens. This route parallels a portion of the Metra Union Pacific North Line. Map, Schedule, and Information
  • #215: Crawford-Howard route--
    Provides service between Westfield Shoppingtown Old Orchard, Skokie Hospital-NorthShore University Health System and the Howard Street CTA Station (Red, Purple and Yellow Lines) operating via Golf Road, Crawford Avenue and Howard Street. Acts as a feeder route to the Rapid Transit Station for commuters going to and from the City of Chicago. Map, Schedule, and Information
  • #250: Dempster St. route--
    This line links downtown Evanston to the Des Plaines Metra station via Dempster and then south to the O'Hare Kiss-N-Fly ATS Station. Service along this line includes the Davis Street CTA Station (Purple Line), the Skokie Swift CTA Station (Yellow Line), Notre Dame and Main East High Schools, and Lutheran General Hospital.

  • #290: Touhy Ave. route--
    Provides east-west service between the Howard Street CTA Rapid Transit Station via Touhy Avenue. Serves Park Ridge, Niles, Skokie, Lincolnwood, Park Ridge Metra Station, the Lincolnwood Town Center and the Rodgers Park area of Chicago. Map, Schedule, and Information

All routes, except #215, originate in downtown Evanston at the Davis Street CTA station (the #215 bus originates at the Howard Street CTA station). Regular cash fares are $2.25. Check  RTA/Fare Information to learn more about fares.

ADA Paratransit Service is pre-arranged curb-to-curb service for persons with disabilities whose eligibility has been determined by the regional certification process. Pace's ADA Paratransit Services operate in all suburban areas that are within 3/4 of a mile of Pace's regular fixed routes and during the same days and hours as the regular fixed route service.  RTA Accessibility/ADA Paratransit/Travel Training.
