Meet our new feathered friends!

June 17, 2024

On Friday, June 14, the experts at the Chicago Peregrine Project at the Field Museum, stopped by the Evanston Public Library to catch, band, name and release our four falcon chicks. Meet:

  • Noodin, male, name submitted by Jean Smiling Coyote, (“Noodin” is the Ojibwe word for “wind.”)
  • Millennium Falcon, male, name submitted by Nancy Engel
  • Eclipse, female, submitted by Silvia
  • Megatron, male, submitted by Teo Siegel-Acevedo

As of Monday, June 17, the Falcon Cam was temporarily down due to connectivity issues. It is expected to be up again by the end of the week. Thank you for your patience.
