D65 Middle School Summer Reading

The following District 65 Middle School Librarians compiled this list of exciting titles for your summer reading pleasure: Ms. Hubbard, Ms. Jaquess, Ms. Odwarka, Ms. Philippe, and Ms. Richardson. Dive in!

In No Safe Place, Ellis follows the story of four teen and child migrants who need to escape their previous lives for a variety of reasons.  She gets to the soul of how EVERYONE wants a safe place to live their lives. This is not an easy book to read, but really makes you think just how lucky we are in this country, and quickly forget how dangerous the big world is for many.
