The Evanston Public Library offers a digital collection of eBooks and audiobooks – accessible from the comfort of your home, 24/7. We have thousands of titles to choose from including fiction, non-fiction, youth, and classics. These titles can be downloaded to most computers and mobile devices, including smartphones, mp3 players, tablet computers, and eReaders.  They are automatically returned, so there are no late fees!  No library card? Evanston residents can sign up for a temporary eCard for access to our digital and physical library by using the eCard form

Hoopla

Digital Library of Illinois (Overdrive)

EPL is part of a library consortium called Digital Library of Illinois (formerly, MyMediaMall), which uses the OverDrive service to provide you with thousands of digital books. You can find them in our Library Catalog, or you can browse directly at dlil.overdrive.com/.

BiblioBoard features books, articles, images, photographs, maps, pamphlets, and documents as well as streaming audio and video content on a wide variety of topics. Local Author Collection : This collection represents the best independently published titles submitted by local authors to the SELF-e program, as selected by staff at Library Journal magazine. All content is available on an unlimited multi-user basis with no checkouts or returns. You can access BiblioBoard content from the web or various mobile devices using your library card number.
