Summer Giving Campaign

Support EPL this Summer!

It’s summertime in Evanston, which means it’s time to be outside enjoying the sunshine and fun. But that also means that many students will suffer summer learning loss, often referred to as the “summer slide,” which can lead to a devastating loss of academic achievement. That’s why EPL is offering a wide variety of programming and events all summer long, to create opportunities to read, learn, and have fun along the way.

Libraries are paths to brighter, more equitable futures.

To keep our programs going strong, we’re raising $50,000 during our Summer Giving Campaign. Our goal is to come together as a community to strengthen this critical outreach and continue to offer free books and STEM activities, park-based events, and connections to all of the Library’s resources.

Despite the many diverse needs in our community, EPL is funded at about half the amount of our neighboring libraries. That means we rely on generous partners like you to help close the gap between the total cost of programming and the amount funded by local taxes.

We must raise $50,000 to sustain and grow our much needed efforts to reach Evanstonians wherever they are this summer. Your gift to the Library today will help us reach our goal and build pathways to more equitable futures.

Together, we are the Library.

Thank you!
