Description
Promotes environmental education and action in Evanston through programming; works with other local green organizations on selected projects which produce environmental benefits for Evanston and its residents. Works to increase enjoyment and knowledge of nature by residents of all ages with the expansion of the Ecology Center classroom space and “critter” collection. Supports the Evanston Ecology Center in partnership with the City, supports the Annual Garden Walk each summer, and works in support of the SAGE edible school garden program in our elementary schools.
