Description
Fifteen member commission appointed by the mayor; advocates on behalf of older Evanstonians, identifies the needs of older residents and develops programs to meet those needs. Sponsors educational forums and provides information about senior services available in Evanston.
Programs: Subsidized Taxi Program, Long-Term Care Ombudsman, Handyman Program, Vehicle Sticker Discount Program.
