Description
Volunteer citizens who have received disaster preparedness training and may be called upon to assist Emergency Operations personnel in the event of a natural or man-made disaster.
CERT participants also receive training in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. Individuals must apply for admission into the next program.
