Description
The City of Evanston partners with a licensed and bonded contractor to provide basic home maintenance repairs for income-eligible seniors (age 65 and older) living in their own home, condo or apartment. There is either no charge or a minimal charge for supplies. Services include repairs needed so a senior can remain at home.
To qualify:
- Gross Annual Income must be $42,100 or less for one individual; $48,100 or less for two individuals; and $54,100 or less for three individuals. If a senior has other individuals who are 18 or older (family or not), living in their home, the income of those individuals is considered in the gross household income.
