Student-run organization that promotes student civic engagement through direct service, social awareness, and advocacy. Offers service opportunities with organizations in four regions: Evanston, Uptown, Rogers Park, and Chicagoland with sites dealing with youth, elderly, homelessness, education, healthcare, women's issues, and cultural issues.
Every October NCDC puts on Project Pumpkin which provides over 1,000 local kids with a safe and fun place to trick-or-treat. In February, the Senior Gala invites seniors from local retirement homes and senior centers to dance, eat, and socialize with each other and Northwestern students.
