Description
The park district, established in 1929, is responsible for administration of the Grosse Point Lighthouse site, a National Historic Landmark.
Tours of the lighthouse take place Saturday and Sunday afternoons, June-September, 2-4 p.m.
Admission: $6 for adults and $3 for children aged 8 to 12.
The grounds are open to the public free of charge, year-round.
The Lighthouse Park District of Evanston Board of Commissioners holds meetings on Mondays at 2601 Sheridan Road, Evanston, IL at 7:30 P.M. Schedule on website.
