Read at the Read-A-Thon!

Read at the Read-A-Thon in honor of the Evanston Public Library’s 150th anniversary

Join the Partners of the Evanston Public Library in reading aloud around town

EVANSTON, IL. – The Evanston Public Library turns 150 this year, and the Partners of the Evanston Public Library are inviting everyone in on a Read-a-thon to celebrate!

Library lovers from across Evanston are invited to participate by signing up for a timeslot to read books across Evanston on the weekend of Friday, Sept. 8, Saturday, Sept. 9, and Sunday, Sept. 10.

There are lots of ways to participate. You can read aloud to a public audience or silently among other reading friends. Join in on your own, or sign up your whole Evanston-based community organization and read together.
