Winter Break Fun for Kids!

November 23, 2016

Welcome to Evanston Public Library’s Main Children’s Room Blog! We’re so excited to share cool stuff with you, from great read aloud books to fun activities to special author visits.
Are you looking for some wholesome activities for your elementary school kids over Winter Break? How about a chance to create rather than just consume? A great line up of Maker Kids events from December 27 through January 6 awaits you!
Does your son or daughter love fantasy novels? Sign them up for Make Your Own Dragon Egg!
Do your kids want to learn Stop Motion Animation? We’ve got a class for them!
Do you want to do a fun project together WITH your child? Sign up for Making Felt Food is SEW Fun or Make your own Beeswax candle!
All these programs require registration. Sign up in person, over the phone (847-448-8610) or register online.
All the programs full? We’ll be doing it again over Spring Break! And… there is a movie almost every day at 2 pm in the Children’s Room over Winter Break. Evanston Public Library is YOUR Winter Break Headquarters!
