18-hole, par 60 public golf course designed by Todd Sloan and built in 1922. Open daily, 7am to dusk, spring through fall. Reasonable greens fees, junior and senior fee discounts; pull carts and riding carts available for rental. Individual and group lessons.
The Evanston Wilmette Golf Course Association manages Evanston's only golf course. Formally Peter N. Jans Community Golf Course (1982) and Frank Govern Memorial Golf Course and now called Canal Shores.
