Judd Apatow on Reading (and/or buying) Books plus 49 others

December 18, 2012

“I am honored to have been asked to recommend books because I love books. Iapatow121712 mean, I love buying books. I can’t say I read most of the books I buy. Recently I decided to believe that buying books is as good as reading them. I feel smarter as soon as I sign the credit-card receipt at my local independent book seller.” He then goes on to plug his new movie “This is 40.”

Most of the recommendations and comments on this Wall Street Journal project (Twelve Months of Reading) are more serious. The WSJ asked 50 people, ranging from Tony La Russa to Bonnie Raitt, to talk about their reading for 2012. Also seen on Shelf Awareness.
