New Book on Chicago’s Own Bozo the Clown

August 17, 2010

For those of us of a certain age, ahem, this book will evoke warm memories of time spent with the always bubbly and energetic Bozo the Clown. The book focuses on the way Larry Harmon built up the business end of the show, which originated out of Chicago’s own WGN. Unfortunately,  Larry Harmon passed away 2 years ago, so the the author was aided by his wife, Susan Harmon. The book signing starts today, 8/17, for Larry Harmon and Thomas Scott McKenzie’s “The Man Behind the Nose: Assassins, Astronauts, Cannibals and Other Stupendous Tales” at 7:30 p.m. at Borders Michigan Avenue. McKenzie, Susan Harmon and Bozo will be in attendance.
