Former Chicago librarian Lillian R. New passed away on Tuesday at the age of 98. She was best known to Chicagoans as “Miss Bunny, the Story Lady.” New’s WTTW show, Story Time with Miss Bunny, aired after school during the ‘50s and ‘60s and featured her reading stories to children.
