Undesign the Redline Exhibit

redline exhibitAn Evanston specific portion of the incredible Undesign the Redline exhibition will be on display on the 3rd floor through the end of the year. 

Created by the Designing the WE and Evanston historian and archivist, Dino Robinson, this educational and engaging exhibit invites the viewer to learn more about the historic systematic racism in the housing market, while understanding the connections to the social and political topics of today. 

Showcased at the library, is the panel detailing Evanston’s history of redlining and housing segregation and the impacts it has on the city today. Joining Undesign the Redline in December, will be more in depth panels on Evanston’s history presented by the Shorefront Legacy Center
