The North End Mothers’ Club, founded in 1911, supports educational, charitable, civic, health and welfare activities in Evanston and organizations dedicated to these purposes. Members are women from all over Evanston. The Club provides three scholarships to seniors graduating from Evanston Township High School: The NEMC Senior Girl’s Award, the Nursing Scholarship and the Joanne Murphy Trautwein Music Award.
The primary fund raiser for the Club is the Fortnightly Dance Classes open to all Evanston 6th and 7th graders.
