LEND is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides business plan workshops, microloans and consulting services to entrepreneurs in the Evanston community. Loans of $500 to $10,000 are made to Evanston-based entrepreneurs who do not qualify for traditional bank loans due to a lack of credit or insufficient assets. LEND also works with the City of Evanston’s Entrepreneurship Support Program, targeted towards minority and women entrepreneurs.
